at the bottom of my announcement there is a statement that says "Got this as a forward? Sign Up to receive future emails" I need to have that removed as people are signing up but not receiving anything as they aren't entered into a group and then are dumped into error folder. How can I do that?

Hi There,

In Emma, any mailing that goes out, has to be attached to a sign up form (lower left hand corner of the Review and send step). This is due to the CAN-Spam laws I believe.

It sounds like we just need to hook up your sign up form so that it funnels to a group. Your "Mid Continent Cabinetry E-Newsletter" sign up form isn't attached to a group. Click on Audience, Click on the Classic sign up form tab, click the name of the sign up, then below the lower right hand corner of the paragraph box you will see a button that will allow you to add any of the folks who sign up, into a group:

The only time a contact should go into Error is if you have sent them something and it returned in a hard bounce. Anyone who has used the sign up previously is in Limbo. You have a Limbo segment created, you just need to copy those folks into the proper group.  To copy en masse

From the Segment tab click on the name of the Segment that contains the contacts you'd like to copy.

To copy everyone in the group, use the menu just above the names to take all of the contacts.

Change   to

Click copy them in the audience menu at the top of the screen, and choose Copy to groups.

Choose your destination group(s) from the menu, and click Copy.

This will put all of those folks into the correct group, and going forward, once the sign up is changed, they will also be put in the correct group.

I hope this helps!
