It would be great to be able to add subscribers to more than one group via the Gravity Forms integration.  A use case would be someone who is signing up to attend a webinar (group 1) but also wants to opt in to a monthly newsletter (group 2).  I'd want to be able to send webinar communications-related messages to the person as part of group 1, but also the monthly newsletter as part of group 2.

Hi Lauren!

I'm definitely in agreement that the ability to specify more than one group would be a great addition to the integration's feature set. It's important to note that this integration was built by Gravity Forms and is managed by them. We don't have any access to change the integration or it's features, so you will want to reach out to them to ensure the feedback is heard.

In the meantime, there may be other ways to accomplish this. Thinking through this, it may be a good idea to include a prominent and visible link to the manage preferences form in any automated mailings that are sent out upon signup. The form can be customized to give your subscribers the ability to add/remove themselves from groups. If you clearly label these groups to reflect how often you send or what the topic is, your contacts can freely add or remove themselves based on their preference.

I hope this is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions.

From Gravity forms: You can add a subscriber to two groups at the same time by using two different feeds.

You can create two different Emma feeds for this. One will add users to group 1 and another to group 2. You can add conditional logic to those feeds so that they are triggered by some kind of selector (checkboxes, radio or drop-down).
