Adding a drop-down option for multiple "from" names and email addresses

It would be very, very helpful if we could have a drop-down option for the RSVP name and email address when sending a TEST or Regular Send email.  Many of our accounts have emails going out from multiple names and email addresses, and the only way to address it at the moment is to type out the various names and email addresses each time.  This can lead to typos/errors.

I definitely see how this would help! I'm sharing this idea with our Product Team and will let you know what I find out. :)

Hi again! I think this idea came about because one of your clients starts typing their from name, their browser autofills the rest, they select the suggested autofill and then the inbox only reflects the portion of the text that was typed. I'm fairly sure that was you I talked about this with earlier. :)

I talked with our Product Team, and while we aren't working on dropdowns, we are looking to override that autofill problem. So I'm marking this as Not Planned because of the dropdowns, but know that this hindrance will be fixed, albeit via another route.

I hope this helps!

Thanks Katie!  That was the issue that sparked my idea to post here, but it's not the autofill that's a problem for us as an agency.  We have many accounts that have a need for multiple names/addresses within a single account.  Since we have a team of staff members that could work on any given account, it would be great to eliminate the chance for typos/wrong store names/etc. from this process.  I'd still like to push for the drop-down feature....

Thanks!

I hear you! That makes sense. We aren't planning now to pursue this, so I'll keep you updated here if those plans change.

I'm glad you shared this use case! It's really helpful to hear about different users' workflows.
