We just added unique user ID numbers to our existing audience records. We used a random process to create these IDs on an EXCEL spreadsheet. Is there a way to upload/update fields for these audience members other than manually?

Hi there! It sounds as though your Excel spreadsheet already has the IDs — Are the email addresses they correspond to also on that spreadsheet, or have you not yet assigned the IDs to specific members? If you haven't, here’s what I recommend:

  1. Go to your main Audience page, and click the View all members button.
  2. Click the Export list button, and select all members.
  3. Once that list of all of your members is done creating, open the Excel spreadsheet. Copy the column of IDs from the original spreadsheet into a new column on this exported list so that each email address is lined up with an ID.
  4. It looks like you’ve already create a Unique ID member field. Now you’ll import this spreadsheet — which contains both your Emma members and their new IDs — and map the ID field data.
