Aligning copy in a numbered list

Hi - I am busy doing a newsletter that includes a numbered list, some of which are longer than one line. The copy that runs onto the next line goes underneath the number rather than aligning under the first line of copy as it should do. I tried putting in a hard space and moving the copy manually, which looks fine in the preview, but a complete mess in the test email. How can I ensure that the copy is aligned properly in a list? Hi there -- Great question! I hopped into your account to take a look. I found a numbered list in your latest draft (Oct. 28) and all looks good there. Were you able to get that list in order (pun intented)? :) If so, I'd love to know how you got those numbers to behave.

I sent it to myself at a Macmail address and also viewed it online using Google Chrome - all looks good! Let me know if you still need assistance here. I'm happy to dig in!

Hi Emily
I rearranged the whole newsletter, so that's why it looked fine. What I had before was a picture on the left, with the copy running alongside. That seemed to be the problem - I could not get the numbered list to align properly - the copy ran below the number, which didn't look good at all. The newsletter I did eventually do wasn't perfect as I had to it in separate blocks so the spacing wasn't perfect, but it looked much better than before. Is there any way to align copy in a bulleted or numbered list, when you have a picture on the left?

Hey there -- I'm circling back here to let you know that what you were dealing with in the editor is actually a bug that we've since identified. It specifically applies to a numbered/bulleted list in a left combo block. This bug hides the bullets or numbers behind the image. For now, the workaround is to use a right combo block or to separate that content into separate blocks - which you've already done. I'll reach out here to let you know when this bug is resolved!

Thanks!

Hey Everyone Great News!

Our team was able to resolve the bug around an an unordered (bulleted) list somehow adding additional left margin to the entire block - ruining the alignment. You should not have that experience moving forward!

Thank you for your patience as we worked to get that resolved!
