I'm having problems with the standard templates - the alignment is very difficult to organise and the newsletter preview looks different from the test i.e. text boxes move slightly out of line. The template has two horizontal rows of three text boxes with thumbnails and if I don't fill the text boxes on the top row with an equal amount of text, the alignment is ruined for the text box below - it looks great but when I send tests it just reorganises itself slightly and I lose control over it - image attached:

Hi and thanks for posting.

This is a great question and one that our support team receives regularly although I believe it is the first time it has been asked in Emma Community.

When using a multi-column layout the three columns move independently so getting text and images to line up as you move down the page can become very difficult. There is another approach to campaign creation that may work much better for you.

In the upper right corner of the editor, click the columns icon and change to the single column option. Now drag over the multiple image content block.

Hover over that content block, click options>settings>captions on. This will add a text box below each image. Now that entire block will stretch at once and you can just replicate that as you move down the page. You will still want to make sure all of your images are identical height and width. This will help your captions appear more consistently.

I made a short screencast showing how you can create a mailing using that caption option.
