When I have an image that I use alternate text on, how can I look in the data and know which clicks came from the image and which clicks came from the alternate text?  Also, some of the images sometimes have the green circle to show clicks, but some of the images have no green circle, but still have clicks in the list view.  Confused.  Please help!

Hi there,

The clicks aren't broken down by image and alternate text because they are attached to the same link. You will only get the info for those who clicked in the area of that link (the green circle on the click map shows that info).

If you click on the Clicks tab, and look at the dropdown it will give you some info there, but I would suggest that the export of the data is a better format to review. That way you can see all of the links and who clicked what.

Generally, the click map will not show a spot:
If the link was coded using an HTML block and has a title= attribute, it won't display on the click map, but will still be recorded in the list and tabs.If the link was coded using an HTML block and doesn't have alt text, it won't display.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have more questions!
