I created anchor links in my email, no spaces in the title. They seem to work in the main email clients, but they don't work on mobile devices. Is there a way that I can correct this or is this a known technology limitation?

Hi there!

Thanks for a great question, although it looks like you've already reached the right conclusion.

Not all mail clients support the use of Anchors. The email client is needing to respond to the link and navigate to a particular portion of the email that you're viewing, and because each email client is slightly different, not all of them may respond to those links in the same way.  The most notable clients where your anchors aren't going to work are any Apple mobile that's up to date beyond IOS 8 and any Android native mail client.  I believe Gmail and Outlook support them though.

By no means does this suggest that you shouldn't use anchor links at all, it's just important to keep in mind that there will be folks that won't be able to use them in your audience.

I hope that helps :)
