Essentially I'd like to know if we are able to set up trigger events for site activity, likely through some sort of integration. I don't see Mailgun (which is what we use for this currently) or any other kind of transactional email service listed in the available integrations/partner services so just wondering if this is something we'd be able to set up or if I'd have to do daily/weekly data transfers between our site's admin, salesforce and/or Emma to make this happen.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for reaching out!

It looks like Mailgun is a service that has an open API.  We currently do not have a direct integration set up with Mailgun, though I do see that Zapier offers a connection.

Emma does, however,  have an open API, the documentation for which can be found here:
http://api.myemma.com/

If Mailgun is set up to receive information about your site activity, it would be possible to set that up in such a way that an API call would be sent to Emma to trigger an Automated workflow.

You can find the information about the various types of Automation triggers here:
https://support.e2ma.net/Resource_Center/Account_how-to/How_to_use_the_automation_workflow_builder

A lot of folks using our API will use a date-based or field-change trigger to trigger an automated workflow from outside of Emma.

We also have an amazing technical services team here that would be happy to help you set something up if the ins-and-outs of that seem a little daunting.

You can reach out to them here:  http://myemma.com/services

Thanks!
