Automated email edits

I had several automated emails in there and uploaded to the automation schedule. Then we had to edit some-- and in the campaigns section it’s showing the edits. But the last two months it sends to me before anyone else and it’s always the unedited one when I receive it. We need to know why and to confirm that everyone else is getting the new one.

Hello!

I wanted to reach out to hopefully clarify a few things:

- To get to your automation campaign are you heading to campaigns > automated tab > 'campaign name'?

- After finishing your edits are publishing them? This will push them to your live automation.

- Is the mailing you received (the old edit) one where you entered the workflow again after making the edits? 

- Feel free to provide an exact automated campaign name and exact automation name here and I'm happy to do some additional testing if you are seeing issues!

Thank you so much for your response. 

We are going into  Campaigns > automated tab > 'campaign name' and making the edits there as well as publishing. 

I (katie@katielentile.com) am receiving the old one-- but when we go in to look at the email in Emma the updates are there.

We are specifically referring to this email: $10 for TEN - Ester's Story (Email #7)

Hello!

We performed some extensive testing here over the past few days and was not able to recreate when making edits to an existing automated mailing and receiving it later.

It is possible that if you made the edits too close you still received an older version of the mailing, but ultimately, going to campaigns > automated > campaign name, making changes, saving, then publishing - should update your workflow in real time.

It may be worth testing this with additional mailings you see down the line, but we were able to confirm this working with all trigger types, even within an hour of editing.

Hi Zach! Thank you for looking into this. When I look under Campaigns>Automation I can see where it has the updated edits (Example-- saying "Ester"). But if I look under Response the email shows that it says "Grace". 

I just want to make sure that the "Grace" email is not sending out to others and I am not sure how to test this.
