Automation: Sending an email at a specified time each day to an ever-growing list.

Hi there,

This may be a simple question, but I am trying to send a daily reminder email to a growing email list. All of these users opt-in to receive the emails and they need to be sent at the same time each day. How can I set this up in automation? I'm sure it's very simple as it's such a basic feature, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.

Thanks!

As far as I can tell there is currently no way to create an email that sends based on a pre-determined interval.

One workaround is to create a workflow that triggers based on a field change. Create a new field (let's call it "daily_trigger") as a short text field, then write a script that will make an API call to change the text field on a daily basis.

Yes, it's convoluted and way more complicated than it oughta be.

Hi Mogl -- So glad you shared this use case with us. As Joel mentioned, this isn't a possibility right now, so I'm giving our Product Team a shout to see what their plans are for Automation in the future. :)

Joel's suggestion is a great workaround in the meantime!

Hi again, Mogl. The product team is evaluating all kinds of ways to expand our Automation feature set, and we'd love to hear about the various use cases for this particular feature. I'm marking this Idea as Under consideration so that others can weigh in here!
