I would like to create an automation workflow that sends 3 emails to a specific group of leads. I want to space the emails out once per week. When a new lead is added to the group I'd like that contact to start the automation workflow, receiving the first email and then the next 2 emails over the next few weeks. Is this possible?

Hello!

There are several trigger types that you can use when setting up an automation.

The signup trigger is likely the best way to start here. For more on the automation workflow building in general, see our article here:

https://support.e2ma.net/Resource_Center/Guide_to_Automation/How_to_use_the_automation_workflow_buil...

For a bit more in depth with signup triggers, see our resource center article here:

You'll want to create a brand new group with 0 members (audience > groups > create a new group) then head to the automation tab.

You can create a new workflow based on a signup trigger for *all* signup sources, but only your newly created group for your designated audience.

From here you can add the appropriate contacts to your newly created group to kick the series off!

I hope this helps provide some direction!

Thanks

Zach
