I've used chrome to create our Emma emails, but it's been very buggy. Sometimes I can't update an embedded link or other times a text box will completely change font type and size if I hit backspace. Could the glitches be due to the browser? Is there a recommended browser for using Emma?

Here at Emma, we use either Chrome or Firefox for our day-to-day work. Between Chrome and Firefox, it comes down to personal preference (I use Chrome myself).

If you having trouble when using Chrome (or any other browser), a good first step when troubleshooting is to clear your browser's cache and cookies.

If you're unsure how to do so, Google "How do I clear my cache and cookies in Chrome?" The first few links should give step-by-step instructions on doing so.

After clearing the cache and cookies, I recommend closing and reopening Chrome and logging back in to Emma. If problems persist, I'd suggest trying Firefox to rule out it being an issue with your copy of Chrome.

If you have any questions, let me know and I'll be glad to help.

I have the same problems with CHROME. It's really frustrating. Clearing the cache usually means I have to log back in, and risk losing work. It's not an ideal situation though.

If you're having continued issues with Chrome, I'd recommend trying Firefox and see if this helps. While Chrome works great for us in general, your particular copy may be having issues.

If you have the same issues in Firefox, the next steps would be to try another computer and then to try another internet connection. What we're trying to do in this case is narrow down where the problem is occurring. First we test the browser, then the computer, and finally the internet connection. Since I'm not experiencing the same issues on my end, I expect one of these three is the culprit.

Hi. Just logged into Emma for the first time. Using Chrome, we tried to adjust the theme of our dashboard by adding our company logo. The logo doesn't show up in the spot expected or as shown in the preview. It's being added below the shaded box.  We logged out and logged back in - still didn't fix. We tried Safari and it was fine.

Are there known issues using Emma and Chrome?  That will be a big problem for us if there are.

We don't have any issues with Chrome (Chrome is actually what I use daily).

When I pull up your account (using Chrome), I do see your logo in the upper left, just as it appears in preview (under Theme in your agency menu).

Since it is working for you normally in Safari and it is working for me in Chrome, I suspect the issue is in your particular copy of Chrome. If you haven't already, I would start by clearing your cache and cookies. This isn't a cure all but we have found it to fix many browser issues folks encounter with Emma. You may also wish to try disabling any plug-ins you've installed and also checking for updates to Chrome. All 3 of these things can affect how Emma (and other sites) may display in your browser.
