We have a client that provides us an updated list for an "Active" group and a "Non-Active" group. We have a different email that goes to each group. When we import the lists we import them into their corresponding group. A situation just arose where we found out that a few people that were Non-Active last year, are Active this year, received both emails. This is our only client that handles their database and emails this way. I'm having a hard time determining the best way to perform our updates so that if a person has changed their active status can be targeted for their new, existing status and not end up receiving the email for their previous status.
