Bullets are aligned with a hanging indent in the Editor, and show up correctly in mobile phone email app (Google Mail), but the bullets no longer have the hanging indentation when the email is displayed in Outlook, Office Professional Plus 2016. This is when sending a Test Email.

Hello!

We'll typically see specific issues around list items in Outlook.

A few suggestions here:

- Be sure that this list was not copy / pasted into the editor. You can recreate your text by typing your desired content and selecting the bulleted list option in the text editor tool bar.

- You also can have a bit more control over your list by accessing the code view (</> icon) of your text blocks. In here a list may look like:

<ul style="color: #69c1e8; font-size: 15px"><li>Bullet 1</li><li>Bullet 2</li><li>Bullet 3<br></li></ul>

There are other attributes that can be included in this as well.

Outside of this it is very difficult for us to control how Outlook decides to render some content so it would ultimately just be testing different solutions.

I hope this provides some direction for you.

Thanks!

Zach

Thanks Zach. It seems to be related to the fact that there is an image in the box. When the image is on the left, it messes up the hanging indent, but when the image is on the right of the text, it keeps it in place correctly. Can you let me know also if there is a way to change the amount of the hanging indent? Are there settings for that kind of formatting? I also find that the amount of indentation changes in Outlook. Very frustrating!

Hello,

There is an indentation tool in the text editor toolbar. You can indent or remove indentation by selecting either one of these. I've also created a video to demonstrate this in one of your campaigns:

I hope this provides a bit more clarity, thanks!
