Campaign margins far too wide

My campaign looks great in mobile, but has large outer margins in desktop e-mail applications (I have viewed it in Gmail and in Outlook 2013). How do I make the margins decrease? I am using a pre-made Emma template and it looks like all of the Emma templates have these huge margins for the desktop version.

Good Afternoon!

Emma's templates come with set marginal columns to the left and right of the edit area, we keep a close eye and update this based on industry standards. Additionally, you can change the margin and padding on individual elements within your campaign. This can be changed by hovering over a particular element, selecting the "gear" icon, and changing the sliders for both margin and padding. One of our Resource Center articles details this and I will include this below:

Also, if you are creating your own custom mailing we have pointers on setting margins here:

I hope this points you in the right direction!

Cheers,

Zach

Hi, Zach,
I'm using a template and it still popped wider than allowed. Any ideas why that might have happened? I can't see any difference, because all the pics are 'best fit' and all the boxes look the same size.
Thanks,
Ramona

Hi Ramona, which template are you creating mailings on? I tested some of your recent mailings but were not seeing any width differences.

Let me know either a template name or mailing name and I can jump in and check it out.

Thanks!

Hi Ramona,

I noticed you and Angelo are working together on this so I wanted to touch base with you to let you know we are working towards a solution for your template!

We will get back to you soon on his main thread with a resolution, thanks again for your patience on this and let me know if I can help with anything else in the meantime.

Cheers,

Zach
