We need to opt out about 100 people who are currently in our newsletter database, is there anyway we can do this without going through one by one?

The issue is we still need to keep the original newsletter database but opt people out from within it?

Hi,

Here's how I'd do this:

1. upload the spreadsheet and create a new group with the data calling it 'to delete' or something like that.
2. open the group and select all members of the group and change the status to 'Opt out' like this: http://grab.by/D5DM

Hope this helps.

Will they then be opted out of everything? This is what we are hoping to achieve.

Thank you

Yes. Only the users will ever be able to opt back in.

hello! I used this method to opt out 7,000 email addresses.  The disengaged group dropped to nearly zero active, but all the other groups haven't updated and still reflect their size prior my opting out the unengaged list. How long for my groups and segments to update?
Thanks!

Hi there! It sounds like you're running into this bug. I ran a quick script to update those numbers -- Mind taking a look to see if that did the trick?
