I would like to pull a list of all people who have opted out in response to one of our emails in the last year. Similarly, I'd like to pull a list of all people who have updated their email addresses in Emma. how can I do both of these things so I can sync this info with my organization's data base? I am on Safari.

Phillip from Emma Support here! We actually have a couple of very informative articles in the Emma Resource Center on those subjects that you may find useful. Just click here to link to an article that is all about managing your audience. Once you have aced that topic, click here to view the article on segmenting your audience based on their groups, information in their contact record, their response history, their signup history or any combination thereof.

I feel confident that these articles will get you well on your way to organizing those contacts, but if you need anything else, please let us know. We are definitely here to help!

Can you help me figure out how to do the Opt-out report?  I've looked through all of the documentation but I can't find any way to create an Opt-out report other than the entire set of opt outs, which doesn't offer any break down other than manually in Excel.

Also, the second link is broken.

Hi K,

I updated that 2nd link if you need to check out the Segment builder.  Thanks for pointing that out.

As I mentioned on my other reply, the best way to get an opt-out report for a particular time-frame is to run a segment looking for anyone who "RECEIVED" an email in the given time-period.

In this segment, all of the opt-outs in that list will have opted out in that time-period, as they would have to have been active to receive an email that they then opted out of.

Let me know if you have any questions on that!
