Can I send a confirmation email that simply confirms subscribing, without requiring them to click a link to complete subscription?

Can I send a confirmation email that simply confirms subscribing to my list, without requiring them to click a link to complete subscription?

I don't want folks to have to go through another step, but I do want them to get a confirmation email.

Yep, you can take out that confirmation link if you want. It's there so that you can use a double-opt-in signup method if you want, but you don't have to use it.

Yep. The only thing that's required in those emails is the opt out link. Everything else is fair game to remove/edit!
