Classic signup form vs. Lightbox signup form: is there a way to tell where new signups are coming from?

Hi there!

My classic signup form and lightbox forms are working great—I can tell they're bringing new folks into my email list, based on the new names in my New Sign-Ups segment. Though I was wondering: is there any way I can see where my new signups are originating from? I'd love to be able to gauge the success of each signup platform and make adjustments if I need to.

Thanks so much!

Hey there! You can create a dynamic segment based on signups that come from a specific classic signup form. To set one up, head to the Segments tab from the Audience page and select 'Create a new segment'; from there, choose to find contacts based on signup/manage prefs history and you'll see the option to select a specific classic form.

You can't currently segment based on a lightbox form (this has been requested before and we're currently looking into adding this in the future); you can, however, edit your lightbox form so that new signups are added to a specific group (you could call it Lightbox), which will make it easy to see how many signups are coming from that specific form.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions on this!
