The Click Analysis view on our email response sections is no longer displaying a click map over the email showing how many clicks each link received. How can we remedy this problem? We are using Google Chrome as our browser.

Hello!

I'm sorry to see you're experiencing inconsistencies with the click map. We have recently uncovered a bug affecting the way clicks are reported through the overview screen, specifically with the click 'heat map' and list view. If you switch over to list view you can see the URL 'myemma.com/404' as being the top link.

While our developers are looking to resolve this I will say that your clicks are still being recorded properly! For the time being, you would just need to visit the 'clicks' portion of the response screen and use the list view or export clicks as an Excel sheet for further viewing.

I will certainly follow up when we can get this bug resolved and let me know if you have any questions on the above for the time being.

Thanks!

Hey Guys!

An update on this - this issue ended up being much larger in scope (as compared to a quick fix) and is certainly a more complicated issue than we initially realized!

With that said, we have made some progress in some instances and are seeing this occur less often in mailings.

As a reminder, you can still export responses > clicks to see a detailed view on your click data as an export or visit the ‘clicks’ tab of your response page.

We will certainly follow up as soon as we gain additional information on this bug.

Thank you for your patience with this!

Zach,
I write a monthly newsletter and experienced this same problem with the November issue. Getting ready to start December and I thought I'd check to see if others were having the same problem. Looks like some were! You mention letting people know when the problem is fixed, I'd like to be added to the list.
Thank you!

Hey Guys,

We have since resolved the issue we were running into with clicks not being displayed properly in the response overview screen. I wanted to circle back to post an update here for visibility.

While this will not resolve past mailings that were experiencing the myemma.com/404 listed as a link click, it should resolve future mailings going out.

Certainly let me know if I can help answer any questions here and thank you for your patience while we work to fix this!

Cheers,

Zach
