Confirmation email won't stop

We're activating a trigger by using the signup form ID via the API. I've disabled the confirmation email for the signup form, but it continues to be sent every time someone signs up with the API this way.

Do I need to cancel the trigger and re-activate it in order for the signup form changes to commit?

Hi, Matt! If you’re using this call:

POST /#account_id/members/signup

that sends a confirmation email no matter what. You’ll want to use this call:

POST /#account_id/members/add

and just include the signup ID number to fire the trigger.

Hi folks!

Just wanted to provide a quick update here. As of today, we've now made the confirmation email optional when using the signup call through our open API. If you'd like to prevent the default plaintext confirmation email from sending when you use the signup call, please check out the details that have been added around the opt_in_confirmation parameter for our members/signup API call.

Super excited to have this new feature now available!
