Hi Dave,

Phillip from Emma Support here! As a best practice, all text should be style and format free when pasted in from another source. You can clean that text up at with a resource like editpad.org. Once clean text is in the editor, you can use the drop down tool bar to add your font, size, etc... If this doesn't help with your current issue, just let me know. Thanks!

Most of the time I am writing / copying / and pasting in other programs. if you are going to require that Emma be the primary program to do our work in then you are going to have to do a lot of work immediately bringing the service up to the current levels other programs we have been using for years.  if you are not going to make your product user friendly I will just go back to using mailchimp which provides a much finer end product in comparison to Emma.

Hey Dave,

I think it is important to note that certain types of code don’t work well in an email environment whether in Emma or elsewhere. Code that is used to format text for a print environment sometimes doesn't work very well with HTML. However, we do give the user the option to paste in text with style in the editor, but those results may vary. To view more on the subject, here is a link to an Emma Resource Center article that may help. If this does not suffice, please contact us at 800-595-4401 or at support@myemma.com and we will be happy to address any additional questions or concerns that you may have. Thanks!
