Copy URL of a document already uploaded

When I try to copy the URL of a document I've uploaded, it doesn't copy anything. I'm trying to add the URL to an image so those reading my mailings can click it and see the document. I'm using Safari 10.1.1 on a MacBook Pro. The option to copy the URL is greyed out after I click in it but nothing was copied. Suggestions?

Hey Graham!

This is typically an issue with the way flash interacts with this modal.

To ensure flash is enabled for Emma check out Adobe's help page here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/enabling-flash-player-safari.html

Additionally, trying this in Google Chrome or Firefox could also help.

Cheers!

What if it's doing the same thing in Chrome/Firefox in Windows?

Hey Kenny,

Chrome and Firefox also have settings within the individual programs that might be disallowing Flash on our site.

Check out the screenshot that Anthony posted here:  https://community.myemma.com/emma/topics/not-able-to-copy-image-url-from-library

That will show you what it looks like in Chrome.

Let me know if you're still having trouble after that!

Thanks! I found there is another button under settings/flash called out as "ask first" that I needed to disable. I guess my pop-up blocker was blocking when it asked...  works now - in Chrome; I'm sure Firefox has a similar setting.
