I keep getting a CSRF token error, and then I'm logged out of my account. What does this mean, and how can it be stopped?

Whenever we've seen this error, it's been due to a web browser plug-in. It's tough to diagnose the particular plug-in, as it's specific to your machine. There are a few routes you can take:
  • Uninstall your browser, and reinstall it at its factory settings, or
  • Uninstall each plug-in on at a time, testing your Emma account in between to see which plug-in is the culprit, or
  • Uninstall your browser, and reinstall it at its factory settings. Reinstall each plug-in one at a time, testing your Emma account in between installations to see which plug-in is the culprit.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled csrf token error.

I am getting a csrf token error when I try to either open or delete a campaign. I restarted Chrome, but that didn't help. I uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome, and that didn't help either.

hey there!  I've merged your question into this one.  Katie spells it out well above.

I see that you've uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome.  Do you still have your plugins activated?   If so, which ones?  And can we try deactivating your plugins one at a time to see if we can identify which one would be causing the error?

Aha!!! I found a weird plug-in and deleted it. Now Emma works. Thanks!
