Delivered plus bounced don't add up to the number sent

In the response stats, why is the total number sent larger than the number delivered plus the number bounced? There are 0 still in progress.

Hi Laurie,

I definitely want to take a look at this! What is the name of the mailing that you are seeing this discrepancy in?

See three of our last four emails -- the one sent on 4/7 adds up, but the ones from 4/4, 4/9, and 4/12 don't. Thanks!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Taking a look at those, I see that the total bounces + total delivered are adding up to beĀ higher than the total sent number we display on response.

This is caused by an issue in our system that can display incorrect bounce totals on the response overview page. Other methods of finding this data, like the response exports, will include the correct bounce counts. In the case of the mailing sent on 4/9, I see that there were actually 142 bounces.

I hope this shines some light on why those numbers aren't adding up. I'll pass this information along to help our teams in researching a fix for this discrepancy.

Ah, OK. The one from 4/12 has the sent total higher than delivered plus bounced, but you're right about the other two. Thanks for the explanation. Will you post an update when it's fixed?
