Delivered to # of recipients different than total recipients, but says 100% delivered.

Hello. I have a mailing that currently says it is 100% delivered but the total # of recipients (1236) that the email was delivered to is way less than the # (10,562)it says it was mailed to at the top of the screen. It is still in progress so it may go back to looking normal. I am wondering what the cause of this is. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. We are using Firefox as our browser.

The open percentage is calculated based on the number of delivered emails so far (rather than the number sent out) and is rounded up.

Because of this, the number can appear different than you might expect while waiting for the receiving email servers to respond back and acknowledge the mailing was delivered or bounced (normally within the first day of sending, but particularly within the first few hours).
