It would be nice if viewing a member's history or record from a list would open up a new tab. Waiting for lthe orginal list to load when returning is tedious when you are editing several records.

Good morning! Thanks for the idea. I’m curious: When you’ve clicked to go back to the original list, does that list have a large amount of rows displaying? When I follow these steps, it takes no time at all:

  1. Click to view an audience group, displaying 10 rows.
  2. Click the downward-pointing arrow to the right of a contact, and click to view their member history.
  3. Click the browser’s back arrow to return to the audience group list.

I want to make sure I’m following the same steps as you and that we have the same amount of rows displaying. If you had, say, 250 or 500 rows set to display at a time, that might take a bit since all the data has to load.

Let me know!

Yes I am displaying 500 rows as I like to be able to scroll through as much data as possible (like the old client days before everything became a web interface). So yes I understand that it will take a while to reload this data each time. To work around the acceptable internet based delay It would be nice to have the list on screen at all times while I head off to a new window/tab to work on an individual. Thanks for taking the time to consider this. It's just something I thought that would help me and maybe others. Cheers

Hey there,

Thanks for the feedback. Audience management is a theme we'll be unpacking later in the year. While this specific approach isn't on the radar right now, I hear your request for a faster interaction back and forth between an individual audience member's record and your audience group/search. And that's something I definitely want to introduce as we refine the interface.

We have a social media product in beta right now and one of the patterns we use is a slide-out panel to reveal more detailed information. Would access to something like this (see image below) where you could dive in to edit an individual's record and back to your list be useful? There are other approaches we may consider but this is one that may work well for your use case:

Thanks again for the feedback. I'm going to change the title of this topic to "Faster access between viewing an audience group/search and viewing a member". We'll keep you posted on how this progresses later this year. Thanks!
