This may be very elementary, but I'm struggling.  It's my first attempt at a newsletter via Emma, and I'd like it to be visually appealing.

Do I have to include the entire articles in my newsletter, or is there a way to insert a "read more"link and continue the article elsewhere? (where?)

Hi Amy! I can definitely shed some light here.

You can add a button block to your mailing, so your recipients can just click the "Read more" button to be taken to the full article. The article must be hosted on an external website, like your Staff One Blog or Resources page, and you can just drag the "Button" block into your mailing to get started.

On this topic, lengthy blocks of text (like a full article) and lots of images can make it harder for receiving servers to accept your content, so using our button block to link to external articles is a great way to provide additional content beyond the mailing. As a note, our proofer will flag any mailing over 40 KB, and you're usually OK up to 60 KB.

Also, I wanted to add that if the full article exists in a Word, PDF, or another document format, you can easily upload the file and link to that external document. You can check out this Resource Center article for instructions on using your document library!

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions here, Amy!
