Does Salesforce integration affect all accounts on an Agency?

We have an agency plan with three subaccounts. I want to understand how the Salesforce integration will affect them. Ideally, it would only integrate with the main account
We keep the segments separate in Saleforce by using different email fields. Only the main account uses the regular Salesforce email field, which is mapped to Emma. If we start syncing these up it will be a mess.

Is it possible to have Emma only integrated with one account? It seems to be only showing groups from the main account in setup sync so I have hope!

Thanks,

Mary

Hello Mary! For the Salesforce Integration, you would install Emma for Salesforce to one of your subaccounts, thus linking Emma and Salesforce at the subaccount level and not the agency level. The integration would only affect that one subaccount.

So, yes, it sounds like the integration functions the way you are hoping!

For more details and a step-by-step how-to, you can check out the Emma for Salesforce Installation Guide

Cheers,
Heather

Hi Heather, is it possible to connect two sub-accounts to the same salesforce org?

Hi Matt! Because the integration relies on the unique API keys of each sub-account, it is only possible to connect one sub-account to your Salesforce org.

In Part 7 of the Emma for Salesforce Installation Guide, that process is described in a little more detail.

Best,
Heather
