Our IT Support looked at myEmma being slow and dragging.  The picture shows results he produced.  IT shows that I can communicate with the web (reference 8.8.8. ping Google), I can communicate with myemma fine as well.  It's when I'm creating the email using app.e2ma.net that I have such problems. I am using ie11, Windows 7. Please advise.

Hey there, thanks for letting us know. I've got a few initial, general troubleshooting steps that I'd like you to take, and I'll check in with a few of my colleagues to see what they think about the lag with e2ma.net.

For slowness and general weird stuff, we always recommend clearing browser cache and cookies. Make sure to shut down the browser after clearing, then re-open and log in again. This doesn't sound like a browser issue, but clearing cache and cookies will definitively rule it out.

Also, please head to this speed test site, select the Atlanta location, and post your results here.

Have you noticed any slowness while browsing any other secure sites, like online banking sites? Do you know if you have any firewalls or security programs in place that could be slowing access to secure sites? Also, let me know exactly what you're doing in Emma when things slow down. You mentioned that the slowness happens while creating an email. Is the slowness happening anywhere else in the account?

Let me know, and I'll see what I can find out!

Thanks Paul. Below are the results from the speed test.  I don't notice any lagging when I'm on another secure site.  I am typically editing the body of an email when it lags.

Can you tell me a bit about your workflow when editing emails in the editor? Do you spend a lot of time formatting pasted text? Anything else you can tell me about your specific actions would be helpful here!

I don't know what else I can specify for you. If I am in that window creating the email, then yes, I am formatting text to improve appearance.

Thanks -- According to our systems team, the ping test results above look relatively normal, depending on where you're located. We get similar results when testing between our Nashville to Portland offices. Your experience when working in the editor is more likely tied to the amount of time spent formatting and building your emails. We've heard other reports that the editor lag builds over time, and that's something we're working to improve!

Hello,  We are seeing very similar problems with a similarly high response time from e2ma.net compared to other sites.  Response times to myemma.com and other sites are currently about 80ms and response time to e2ma.net are 135+

Speedtest currently show a download speed of about 4.5mbps and upload at about 3.25

We tested with an account that doesn't have web filtering and still experienced issues with creating/modifying messages.

I can also confirm we are having significant issues with slowness. Our speed test results were 80mbps down and 15mbps up.

Hey folks -- Emily here, jumping in for Paul while he's out of the office. I'd like to speak specifically to your slowness issues on and around June 1st and 2nd. On those two days, our data center had an upstream partner that was having problems and causing connectivity issues for particular IP addresses. This wasn’t specific to Emma, but could have affected anyone who had IP addresses routed through that particular partner. It's possible you were affected by this connectivity problem.

So, I'd first like to check in to see if you're still seeing the same kind of slowness you experienced earlier this week. Let me know, thanks!
