Hi,

I am trying to put a sign up form on my home page but it does not look good with the rest of my site. 1. How do you remove the white background that is by default? The HTML in the sign up form builder isn't really allowing me to make any real adjustments. 2. Is there a way to edit the CSS? For example, I don't want a thin grey border around the form. 3. I want to move my submit tag up next to the email field, how do I edit that table? I don't see anything in the HTML for that either.

Thanks,
Gina

Hey! While you can use the JavaScript object version of your signup form (http://myemma.com/resources/how-to/cu...) and completely customize it using CSS, it sounds like you might want to consider building a form outside of Emma and connecting it to your Emma account using our open API. You decide which information (name, email and any other fields you store in your Emma account) gets added, how the form appears and you specify the group(s) to which new people will be added. Each time someone hits Submit on your form, the appropriate information gets passed automatically and immediately to Emma.

If you decide to do it, you'll go to your account settings and click the API key tab to generate the API key. You can check out the calls and help documentation here: http://api.myemma.com. You'll want to carefully look over the sample documentation to make sure it's within your skill-set because support is not provided for this feature.

Hope this helps!
