EMMA is adding and removing code from my Code Your Own emails?

Specifically, EMMA is adding ".e2ma-template" before every css class or ID in my code.  It is also replacing my HTML entities. For example, changing a " " to an actual space or "•" to an actual bullet character, but those should remain as html in the code.

Is there a solution for this? This wasn't happening a week or two ago, and it is seriously screwing up the functionality of my emails.

Hi Pat,

Phillip from Emma Support here! It looks like you are being affected by a bug we recently identified.

The workaround is as follows:

go into your CYO mailing, and right after the opening <body> tag place <div class=“e2ma-template”> . Make sure you place a </div> before the closing </body> tag)

I hope this helps, but just let me know if you have any follow up questions regarding this quick fix. In the meantime, we really appreciate your ongoing patience while we work to get this resolved. Once it is, I'll be sure to jump back in here to let you know.

Hi Phillip,

I'm having the same issue and the quick-fix you suggested is not working. Are there other quick-fixes to this issue? Do you have an update on when this bug will be fixed?
