EMMA logging out in the middle of a process

While in the middle of a process: uploading a file, inserting text, even saving the document, EMMA logs out and requires you to log back in. It's understandable if the account is inactive, even for a minute and your scheduled hour occurs, but it becomes a real issue while you're actively working on something. It's also understandable if the account is inactive for a couple of minutes. When it happens multiple times during a newsletter build it is increasingly frustrating. We hope you can address this issue.

Hi There,

Emma does in fact have an auto-logout feature, but it only fires after an hour of inactivity. Are you by chance using an incognito window? We have seen incognito windows cause issues with logins before so that could definitely be contributing to the problems that you are experiencing. If you are not using incognito, I would try clearing your cache and cookies and see if that alleviates the sporadic logout issue, as well as trying a different internet browser than the current one that you are on.

Let me know if you are still having issues after clearing your cache and cookies and trying a different browser!

I don't have an incognito window. We're part of a system. Now it's just freezing. I'll see if I can get another browser but it's caused a lot of trouble in the last few days, freezing, logging me out. I'll also check IS here. I'll also try your other suggestions, and will keep you posted.

Hi There,
I just wanted to check in and see if the sporadic logout issues you were having were rectified, or if there was anything else I can do to help!
