Error while syncing SF Report with Emma Groups: "You have uncommitted work pending. Please commit or rollback before calling out."

Hi there, we are experiencing some issues while setting up Emma Groups with Salesforce. When we go to the "Emma Groups" Tab und hit "New Group" and then check the box "Also Add Members from Salesforce Report" we are able to select the right report but when we hit "Save" we get the following error: "You have uncommitted work pending. Please commit or rollback before calling out. An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (emma)". This is really frustrating since we need to get this to work properly as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for any help regarding this problem. Yours Sam

Hi Sam!

We are really close to releasing the Connected App version for the Salesforce Integration.  Once that is released, it will clear up the trouble you are currently running into.  I would suggest following this post from Emma Community to keep in the loop with the progress for the Connected App release.

Very frustrating.  Am going to not use Emma because of this.  4 weeks to resolve.  Really?

Hi there!

I hate to hear that you are frustrated!  We’ve been making our updates regarding the Connected App here! If you’re having specific issues with the integration and don’t see what you need there or in our FAQ’s (found here), please give us a shout there with specifics. We have a team set up to troubleshoot any customer issues individually, since this integration is new to us as well!  

I hope there is something we can do to make this better, we would hate to see you leave Emma!  If you have any questions or if there is anything else I can do to help, feel free to reach out!
