Export list by group and number of emails opened

When I export list information about a group, it would be very helpful to have a category "number of emails opened" by each individual person. This would help me indicate a higher level of engagement.

I know, I can see them individually. It would be more helpful to have it in an excel report.

Hi there! I’m interested to hear more about how you see this working. For example, how about if I’ve been in your account for 12 months, you’ve sent me 12 emails and I’ve opened five of them; but someone else has been in your account for three months, been sent three emails and opened three of them — The second person would have a higher level of engagement, but I would show as having opened five versus their three. How do you picture that being reflected in a spreadsheet?

Hi again! I want to check in to see if you'll share how you'd like for this to work. Better understanding how you're visualizing this will really help. Thanks!

Katie,

Great hearing from you! I am not concerned about how long a person has been in
the group/account. It would just be beneficial to have the number of emails opened in
a column on the Export List by Group report. If you need further clarification,
it may be easier to reach me by phone.

Thank you,

Justin

Hey Justin! How would you plan to use that data? I'd love to share that use case here for others to weigh in on and paint a better picture for our product owners.

We are going to use it to gage a prospective student’s interest level. For example, if a high school student has constantly been opening our emails they are going to be more highly engaged than someone, who has not opened any. We would then may follow up with a phone call or email to those students, who show a higher level engagement (Emails Opened).

Hi Justin,
I work with the product teams over here at Emma, and we're hearing you loud and clear. I sent you a note this morning to schedule some time to talk about measuring and reporting on audience engagement. We're cooking up some new concepts around this idea, and I'd love to get your feedback. Looking forward to working with you!

Thanks for your great feedback here! Checked in with our product team, and while we aren't implementing this exactly as described here (with the data being exportable), we do hope to provide this type of information in accounts.

I'm marking this as Not Planned and will update it if plans change.

Was this export with "number of opens" capability added to myEmma? I would love to have a capability like that to understand better my groups dynamics. An option to export data by months or years would do the job.

Hi GE -- This exporting functionality has not been added and isn't currently planned for the near future, but it is on our product team's radar. We're always looking for ways to expand the functionality of our audience exports, so this could still be part of future iterations of the product. :)
