I would like to replace the information in a field of a group of contacts.
i.e. change the words in the title field to reflect a change in my industry, from Art Buyer to Art Producer, but can't seem to figure our how to do this.

I am using Firefox 53.0 on a Mac OS 10.9

David, I am assuming that you are talking about updating the data and not the name of the field. If so, here's how I would do it. I would export the contacts that you need to change and download the file. Using the downloaded data, I would create a new spreadsheet or CSV file with 2 fields: the email address and the field you need to be changed. Once you've made the changes and are happy with it, I'd use the file to upload the data back into Emma so that the field data can be updated. I hope this helps.

Hi David,

Josué nailed this one. There isn't a way to do find and replace with Emma, but you can do this in Excel or your favorite spreadsheet program. The first step is to export your audience. Here are instructions on how to do that:

Next, use your spreadsheet program to find and replace the relevant fields.

After you've updated your fields, you can upload your corrected spreadsheet. Just make sure you select "add and update" to have the new data come through in your contact records. You can find information on how to do that upload here:
