Folders for fields in signup forms

Create a folder structure to better manage fields housed within the sign up feature. Having more than a handful of fields to sort becomes a real challenge and a file structure would really improve this feature.

I have forms for more than half a dozen programs that I am in charge of. Within those programs the average number of sign up forms needed is three. Multiply that times six and you get the picture. I currently have 40+ fields that I need to manage and I'm not even close to being done adding those fields.

The process of sorting the hierarchy of fields by numbering on the left side, is incredibly inefficient and confusing once we go over a dozen or so fields. There is surely a better way. Folders and drag and drop sorting together would be an awesome improvement.

Good morning,

Thanks for the feedback. We will be improving our sign-up forms, both from a creation/organization perspective as well as a rendering/extensibility perspective. This work is planned for later this year. I'm not sure we'll implement a folder structure exactly, but it's an interesting approach, and I agree with your take on drag & drop sorting. We'll go ahead and mark this as under consideration meaning we intend to take on some/all of this work in the next twelve months. We'll keep you posted as we start to design out a fresh take on this. Would you be open to collaborating with us as we have concepts together?

Sorry to super-stalk on this idea... but file folders are definitely needed. We are migrating from Constant Contact and this is one feature that really makes me sad to lose. :(  I am including a snapshot of the system they had set-up. Made it very easy to organize work by content specific folders. This was in place not only for emails, but also audience, graphics, surveys, etc.
