When I send an email (test and regular), the background color of my footer is gone when it's looked at in Outlook/Email. But when you click to view in a browser the background color of my footer is there? Why is that happening?

Hi Desiree - this is likely isolated to Outlook, as it is notorious for playing hard to get when it comes to HTML for email. I would love to hop in and do some testing.
Will you please let me know the name of the account and mailing in which you're working? (The account name appears on your Emma invoices. That should be enough for me to jump in and check it out; no need to give the account ID.)

Thanks,
Emily

Hi Emily! Thanks for your help. The account is AimcoR Group, and the subaccount that we've noticed this problem in, is: Crisona Financial. The specific mailing was "AML New Course Requirement..."

Thanks!

Hey Desiree - I took a look at your template code. It looks like you've coded that footer as a background image, and Outlook 2007 and 2013 are stripping that background image.

We recommend coding using background colors instead of images. You could select a shade of blue from that footer image and code it as a background color, or you could troubleshoot coding your background image using this article from our resource center!

I hope this helps!
