Our company's email template looks great when it's received straight to someone's inbox. But when someone forwards the message to another person or replies to the message, the formatting gets messed up. For example, the headline moves all the way to the right (should be left justified), the columns get skewed, etc. Any suggestions? I can send you an example if you'd like. Thanks!

Hi there,

I'm guessing the campaign is forwarded using an email client instead of the "Share this" feature built within the template. That's a feature Emma has constructed and can support, and when it's used, shouldn't cause trouble with delivery rendering. However, if someone forwards using an email client's Forward button, we aren't able to speak to how that mailing arrives in inboxes, since it's sent and delivered by that outside email client source (such as Outlook or Yahoo). Utilizing the "Share this" mail icon is the best way to forward Emma campaigns to those not on the mailing list.

Let us know if you have questions!

Email Renders Differently Depending on Sender and When Forwarded.

When my colleague and I send test emails, on occasion, they render differently depending on who sent it. This is especially true when we forward these tests on to be reviewed by other people.

For example, we both sent ourselves an email and forwarded it to the other person. The test email rendered correctly, but her forwarded version of the email to me took away spacing between two columns and my forwarded version to her added extra space between columns.

Is this normal? Does this happen when other people forward/share our emails?
