I want to stage a giveaway drawing of one of our products. It would be something where they can request more information and sign up to win a free box of product. How do I set this up in a mailing to capture contact info and a list to draw from?
I think what you're looking to do would best be accomplished with a signup form. You can set up a signup form specifically for this event, where the people that signup for the drawing are put into a specific Audience group. Through the signup form you can capture contact information, any other information you may want (if you've added it to your member fields), and once the signup period is over, you will have a list to draw from. You can change the language on the thank you page for the signup to reflect your contest: "You've been entered into our drawing" or something along those lines, and it can all be accomplished by sending a campaign out to your current audience members.
