I have a gap between my sidebar image and my text but ONLY when the email is received (see below). It looks right in the editor. How can I fix this?

Note: This topic was created from a reply on the Control margins and padding between hard-coded image and flexible region topic.

Vince hit the nail on the head here. Due to the Word rendering engine that Microsoft uses for their emails, if there is an image where Outlook thinks there should be a page break, it adds a gap above or below an image. It's annoying, I know, but a "fix" is to shift or reduce content in your campaign. This helps because it puts the page break in a different place, or if you reduce your campaign size, will completely remove the gap. We talk about Outlook rendering issues over on our resources page - definitely worth a read!

Another thought is that you have text wrapping turned on for that image. To check if wrapping is on, hover your cursor over the image, select the gear icon and then Settings. If wrapping is ON, toggle to OFF and if there is any space to remove, you'll see and be able to delete when wrapping is off.

I hope that helps!
