Has anyone done a Unbounce landing page integration with Emma?

We're doing a landing page with Unbounce but want to integrate with Emma. Has anyone done this? Do you recommend the webhook? Would the "Post form data to a URL" process work in this case?

Thanks,

Mary

Hey there!   I hope that someone with a bit more experience in it chimes in here.

You're welcome to use our API as you need, and you can find the documentation for that here:  http://api.myemma.com/

I did a quick search and see that Zapier does provide a link between Unbounce and Emma if you're looking for a more simple setup.  You can check out the details of that one here:  https://zapier.com/zapbook/zaps/1986/send-unbounce-form-entries-to-emma/

Hopefully that will get you going if no one else has anything to add!

Cheers!

Hi there,

I'm an Unbounce Expert and thought I chime in with a bit of my experience:

Grey is absolutely correct that your two options are: webhook through the API or Zapier.

You can't use the "Post form data to a URL" because Emma doesn't support it and also there is no way to authenticate such posts.

Pros & Cons:

Zapier - Pretty easy and straightforward to setup. A few clicks and you are done. I use Zapier on a daily basis for my business and also setting it up for clients.

The only down-side is that most people don't use it to it's full potential. Making Zaps only for a service or two. You also have to factor in the monthly pricing. Unbounce is a premium integration on Zapier so you are looking at $20 or more per month to be able to automate the lead transfer.

Webhooks - You need to be a developer or have one on hand to set this up for you. It gives you greater control over your data. Upfront investment but no real monthly cost.

Bottom line: If you are just starting out with Unbounce and landing pages in general - start with Zapier. After a couple of months look into creating a webhook script.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Best,
Hristian
