Hello. Is there some sort of glitch occurring with MyEmma? When I send the test email, I get a bunch of boxes with formatting issues, not the normal content that should be be in the newsletter?

Hi there!

It looks like you resolved this trouble in your Final version but I did just want to chime in and explain why that formatting was broken.  Essentially it came down the structure of the link in the content block with the heading "In The News."  Additional quotation marks can cause a break in formatting due to their ability to interrupt HTML by transcending tags.

Basically when the HTML is rendered by the mail client, those quotation marks are looked for in pairs and if they exist within the name of a hyperlink or directly surrounding a hyperlink (as both were in this case) then often tags that supersede those quotation marks break.

By removing the quotation marks around the hyperlink, and by removing the quotation mark that existed as """ within the name of the hyperlink, that mailing rendered fine.  I can see in your final copy you opted to just remove that link entirely, which is also a viable solution.

I hope that answers your question for future reference.  Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any additional questions -- happy to help!

As a side note, I changed the title of the article in case there are others that may be having similar trouble!
