Help! I tried to delete contacts from a group, but deleted them from my audience.

I realized as soon as it happened, and I thought they'd be in Tools under the Deleted Contacts section, but they're not there. Please tell me they are not gone forever. Can I re-import them if I can't restore them?

Hi Laurie!

No worries and that is certainly an easy mistake to make! If they have been archived out of the group, you can import them again to bring them back out of archived into the group of your choosing. 

If you archived the group itself (and not the contacts inside of it) your contacts are likely just floating in limbo (no group membership). To find your contacts in this case you can do one of the following:

- Create a segment that finds contacts based on groups > not in any group.

- Re-import these contacts and assign them a group!
