Can't edit options in dropdown, checkbox, radio or select mult member fields

I have a checkbox selection called "Music Theatre" under  2 separate fields in my audience contact info. I meant to call it "Musical Theatre". Can it be changed? There are audience members who have already checked this box.

Hi there -- There isn't a way to edit an existing check box menu option. You can, however, add a new option and populate it with your subscriber's current preferences by exporting and reimporting those contacts. 

To add a new option to your checkbox menu, click Manage contact fields on the Audience tab and select the pencil icon next to the field you'd like to edit. You should then see the list of existing options and a field to add a new option:


To reimport those selections, you'll want to be sure the options are separted by three semicolons: Theatre:::Opera:::Classical Music

Thanks for the answer, but that is a major pain if I need to change several fields. Some clients just can't make up their minds on the wording ...  
Please submit a request for the ability to change within the field. :-)  Thanks!

Hi again -- My apologies here. This experience is only currently the case as a result of a bug. You should be able to edit those options using the pencil icon next to each option, but that's not currently working. I can get those updated for you in the meantime.

Can you specify the subaccount and specific checkbox menu option you need changed and what you'd like it changed to? Thanks!

Great news -- this bug is fixed! You should now see the ability to edit these options as needed.
