Hi there Marie,

You can do this one of two ways.

1.  Click the arrow to the right of a campaign in the Drafts folder and choose "Archive"

2. Use the check-boxes to choose multiple campaigns and use the Archive button at the top

Let me know if you have any questions!

Archive is the same as delete.  It functions exactly the same as it used to.  Where you used to have a "deleted items" folder, you now have an "Archived items" folder.

If you'd like to delete from your archive folder, you're welcome to delete from there as well by clicking in the top-right of the account and heading to the Archived Items folder.  From there you can remove permanently.

I was baffled by this as well. The term "Archive" is misleading; it indicates that the thing I want to permanently remove is not being removed, but relocated for possible future retrieval. I do not want to archive my old draft email/campaign, if I did, I would choose "Archive." I welcome the return of the "Delete" function.

Hey there, we made that change because the functionality does work as you described.

Anything archived in the account is sent to your "archived items" folder and can be retrieved.  Since that functions more like a "recycle bin" than actually deleting, we wanted to make that terminology more accurate.

If you'd like, you can permanently delete things from your Archived Items folder (like cleaning out your recycle bin).

I agree that the term "Archive" is very confusing. Maybe "Recycle bin" would be a better and more universally understood term to use than "Archive". The use of the word Archive is counter-intuitive, since the meaning of the word Archive is definitely not "delete"--it is to save or store for later use! At the very least, if someone searches for "delete draft" or something similar in the My Emma Help box, having this explanation pop up would be helpful. Thank you.
