We would like to reach out to our audience to request updated contact information. Is there a way to do this in Emma? It would be similar update preferences but for their actual contact info (eg. title, company name, etc.) Thanks!

Hey there! You'll first want to update your signup form so that it displays all the fields you need (such as title and company name).

Next, you'll create your mailing and insert this tag somewhere: [% manage_url %]. When you send the mailing, that tag will be replaced with a personalized link for your recipients to update their preferences and contact fields. You can treat that tag like a URL and add it behind a button, an image, or whatever call to action you're using to encourage your recipients to click to update their information.

Finally, when you go to send your mailing, you'll want to choose the signup form you've updated, as this determines where the [% manage_url %] link goes:

We have more detailed instructions for this here:

Let me know if you have further questions!

This is very helpful. Is there a way to embed the form in an email so that they don't have to open it in a new window?

Thanks!

Hi there!   It'd be great if we could get the forms directly there in the email, but the code that can be used in email isn't quite advanced enough to handle forms or other scripts like that.
