How do I add fields to sign up form?

I'm seeking volunteers for a charity event and I'd like for them to be able to sign up online so that their information comes directly to me and I can coordinate my efforts better.  To do that I need a little more information such as, the time they would like to volunteer, their position/abilities and how they heard about my event.  I'm able to add this information to the contact fields, but I am unable to add additional form fields for volunteers to provide that information.  Please help!

Hello, W Dental Group!

If you've set up the special fields, all you need to do next is add those fields to the signup form itself.

So, go to the signup form you're using for the volunteers. You'll find it by scrolling to the bottom of the "Audience" section of your account.

Select the correct signup form.

Click edit at the right side of the screen. All of the available contact fields display and you select which ones you want to appear in your signup by checking the "require" or "hide" checkboxes.

Whassup Dental!? Happy Friday...sounds like you need to add the fields so they show up on your form. Go to Audience...Click Manage Fields...Click Create a New Field...Select your field type...Name the Field...Click Preview...Click Save....Now visit your signup form and click edit...the field will appear and you can set its attributes there.

Quite a stupid answer; as it does not really add the field upon clicking the require of hide options ... disappointed as it is not a user-friendly application you have built ... please do reconsider to update it; much better if you can add contact-form-7 integration into it ... remove the hassle on your part and end to edit your form as much as possible. Thank you!

Hi Ting.  I'm having a bit of a hard time following you, but to be clear, the form builder is working as expected right now.  

After unchecking the "hide" box, are you clicking to SAVE the form and then previewing?  

If you're having specific problems with a form, let me know the account you're working in, the form you're looking at and the specific problem you're having. I'll be glad to pop in and take a look.
