How do I change the style of a link?

I have read the other community posts regarding this problem and am at a loss. I tried adding the html to remove an underline and that did not work. I'd like to use an underline and have control of the link's color, but at this time I can only change the color of the text. Or perhaps an option to have the link change color when the user hovers. Is there an easier way to customize links? If not, PLEASE get your team on making this an option ASAP. At this point I feel like I am finding new things every day that disappoint my expectations of Emma for what we pay.

To remove the underline in a link use:

<a href="#" style="text-decoration: none;"> linked text </a>

Make sure you specify a color in the style: color="#ffffff" or it will default to that generic blue

Thank you! I copied and pasted the other styles combined with your html and that seems to have worked perfectly!
